Team Real is a group of students from the Dane County Transition School who describe the drug situation in schools today, including how common things in a medicine cabinet (such as cough syrup) are being used by kids as hallucinogens and other forms of getting high. They talk about the street value of behavioral drugs such as Adderal and Ritalin, and the volume of drug trade in schools and how kids who get these prescriptions sell them for profit.
A very powerful and eye-opening presentation by kids who have been there. Contact Judy Reed, Principal of DCTS.
Jim Gilmore works for American Family Children's Hospital and is a terrific speaker to invite to your meetings. I'm guessing many clubs have had him in to speak already, but in the year since my club had him speak there have been a ton of changes at AFCH.
